Welcome to the eternal city! Your Roman adventure begins as you arrive at Fiumicino Airport in the morning. After landing, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for a smooth check-in.

Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to delve into the treasures of Vatican City. Your tour encompasses the Vatican Museums’ most important collections, including the Museo Pio Clementino and the Gallery of the Candelabras, Tapestries, and Maps. Continue your journey with a visit to the remarkable rooms of Raphael, located in Julius II’s apartment. The grand finale awaits in the Sistine Chapel, where you can marvel at Michelangelo’s breathtaking masterpiece. If religious ceremonies permit, a visit to the awe-inspiring St. Peter’s Basilica will complete your day.

Day 06 | Florence to Lucca and Pisa

Kick off your day with an optional visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Later, embark on a tour of Lucca, a city closely associated with the famous opera composer Giacomo Puccini. Explore the places where he was born and raised, including his house, which has been transformed into a museum. Stroll through charming Romanesque churches, boutique-lined streets, and soak in the romantic atmosphere that pervades this historic city.

Your journey then takes you to Pisa, the birthplace of Galileo, and you’ll pass through San Giuliano spa center on your way to the river Arno and its ancient docks. Admire the tiny church of S. Maria della Spina, which reflects beautifully in the river.
