Day 1: Arrival in Amman
Upon arrival, meet and assist, then transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Amman | Petra
Morning visit to Madaba, best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, including the famous 6th-century mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Then stop at historic Mount Nebo, one of the most revered holy sites of Jordan and the place where Moses climbed to see the Promised Land. Continue to Kerak, a town with some of the oldest Christian communities in the world. Visit the 12th-century, Crusader-era Kerak Castle, perched atop a steep hill with its maze of stone vaulted halls and endless passageways. (B)
Day 3: Petra
Morning tour to Jordan’s greatest tourist attraction, Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Explore this centuries-old “rose-red” city by horseback and on foot. See Petra’s most beautiful monument, The Treasury, carved out of the solid rock from the side of the mountain. Discover soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, burial chambers and much more. (B)
Day 4: Petra | Dead Sea
Start the day with a 2-hours 4×4 jeep tour in Wadi Rum, a scenic desert valley. This unspoiled area has been virtually untouched by humanity, created only by the weather and wind. Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, at 1,400 feet below sea level See one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world. (B)
Day 5: Dead Sea | Departure from Amman
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
