Day 1: Arrival in Malta
Upon your arrival in Malta, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to Marsaxlokk, a charming fishing village nestled on the southeastern coast. Here, you’ll indulge in a delightful lunch featuring fresh seafood at La Nostra Padrona Restaurant. Afterward, take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque promenade, where you can admire the vibrant traditional fishing boats known as luzzus and soak in the local atmosphere. Later, you’ll transfer to your hotel, check in, and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Full Day in Valletta and The Three Cities
After a satisfying breakfast at your hotel, you’ll embark on a full day of exploration in Valletta, Malta’s captivating capital city. Your day begins with a visit to the stunning St. John’s Co-Cathedral, followed by a walk through the beautiful Upper Barrakka Gardens, offering panoramic views of the Grand Harbour. For lunch, savor a traditional Maltese ftira at the historic Café Cordina. In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat ride to the Three Cities—Birgu, Bormla, and Isla—where you’ll enjoy a walking tour of Birgu’s narrow, charming streets, visit the intriguing Inquisitor’s Palace, and explore the Malta Maritime Museum. After a day filled with cultural and historical discoveries, you’ll return to your hotel for a restful evening.
Day 3: Mdina and Rabat
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before heading to the ancient city of Mdina, also known as the Silent City. Here, you’ll explore its narrow, winding streets and visit the impressive St. Paul’s Cathedral. Take in the breathtaking views from the city walls before enjoying a traditional Maltese lunch at Fontanella Tea Garden, renowned for its delectable cakes and stunning views over the island. In the afternoon, you’ll walk to the nearby town of Rabat, where you’ll visit St. Paul’s Catacombs and the historic Domus Romana. After a day of exploration, you’ll return to your hotel for a relaxing evening at your leisure.
Day 4: Day Trip to Gozo
After an early breakfast, you’ll set off on a ferry ride to Malta’s sister island, Gozo. Your adventure begins with a visit to the island’s capital, Victoria, where you’ll explore the Citadel, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. For lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to taste authentic Gozitan dishes at Ta’ Rikardu, a charming restaurant located within the Citadel. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the iconic Azure Window (Dwejra), the tranquil Inland Sea, and the beautiful Ta’ Pinu Basilica. You may also choose to explore the ancient Ġgantija Temples, one of the oldest free-standing structures in the world. Later in the day, you’ll relax on one of Gozo’s pristine beaches, such as Ramla Bay or Xlendi Bay, where you can swim or simply unwind. In the evening, you’ll return to Malta and your hotel.
Day 5: Departure
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, followed by some last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Valletta. Afterward, you’ll check out and transfer to the airport for your departure, bringing your unforgettable Maltese adventure to a close.
