Day 1: Arrival in San Jose
Upon arrival, meeting, assistance and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: San Jose | Tortuguero
Transfer to Tortuguero via the Braulio Carrillo National Park, a flora and fauna sanctuary covered by an emerald green mass of vegetation. Afterwards, sail through canals sheltered in the jungle of the rainforest with lush greenery of tropical crops as well as a variety of mammals and bird species. Visit the village of Tortuguero where the local residents will teach you about their lifestyle as well as the significant conservation efforts to protect the sea turtles. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Tortuguero
Tour Tortuguero National Park, a magical area where the lagoons, rivers, beaches, and canals are a never-ending study of marine biology, in one of the most remote locations in the country. Depending on the weather conditions, you may choose between a guided hike through the jungle or sail the secondary canals of this natural paradise. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Tortuguero | La Fortuna
Transfer to the airport for your flight to San José*, then continue by land to La Fortuna in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica. Climb up the central volcanic mountain range in the northern lowlands of Costa Rica and tour Arenal Volcano. Then visit a famous artisan town, which is the perfect place to find those souvenirs and gifts. During the afternoon, you will visit the world-famous Tabacon Hot Springs. (B,L,D)

Day 5: La Fortuna
Morning visit to a local dairy farm, with acres of lakes, gardens, rivers, medicinal plants, roots, fruit trees and grasslands. The tour also includes a visit to a dairy factory to learn the processes to produce milk, cheese and yogurt. Afterwards, visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges on a reserve filled with lush vegetation and a variety of birds and animals, This beautiful, environmentally friendly project allows you to discover the rainforest canopy from an unrivaled perspective. Day 6: La Fortuna
Day at leisure to discover the surrounding area. Perhaps, an optional visit to Arenal Volcano National Park, one of the most interesting sites in Costa Rica. Other optional visits may include Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge, Venado Caves, La Fortuna Waterfall, or participate in special activities such as river floating, nature walks, hot springs, canopy, hanging bridges, rafting, hiking and horseback riding. Day 7: Arenal | Guanacaste
Today, transfer to the Papagayo Gulf in Guanacaste. Drive along Arenal Lake with its panoramic views and beautiful landscapes which include the tropical dry forest. Arrive at your selected all-inclusive resort, with its beautiful beaches and palm trees that rise up from the sea. It’s easy to understand why this is the perfect destination to enjoy nature and relaxation combined. (B)
Day 8: Guanacaste
Day one at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s many facilities, its beach and perfect ambiance. The region is known for its extensive nature reserves that house an incredible concentration of flora, fauna and natural beauty. Consider taking an optional tour (not included in program price) to see some of the reserves and natural attractions, such as Rincón de la Vieja National Park with its active volcano and thermal mud baths or Palo Verde National Park, a bird-watcher’s and nature-lover’s paradise. There are also canopy tours, river rafting, horseback riding, forest hiking, fishing and much more explore. (B,D)
Day 9: Guanacaste

Day 10: Depart Costa Rica
