Day 1: Depart Cape Town
Board the Blue Train at Cape Town station. A delicious brunch is served on departure. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure enjoying the passing countryside. In the afternoon the Blue Train arrives at Matjiesfontein for a 45 minute off–train excursion in the Klein Karoo. Back on the train, enjoy a lavish high tea and later take pleasure in pre-dinner drinks and an elegant dinner. Spend the night on board as the train travels toward Pretoria. (Brunch,D)
Day 2: Arrival in Pretoria
Awaken to an extensive breakfast served in the dining car or in-suite at your request. Early afternoon the Blue train arrives at Pretoria train station and upon arrival you will be escorted to the Blue Train lounge. (B)
NOTE – Subject to minimum 2 guests. This journey is available in reverse from Pretoria to Cape Town with an off-train excursion at Kimberley instead of Matjiesfontein.
