Day 1: Arrival in Tel Aviv
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel on the Mediterranean shore. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind.
Day 2: Tel Aviv | Caesarea | Tiberius
Visit Jaffa, the oldest port in the world, then continue to Caesarea (Acts 8:40; 9:30) from where Paul made his defense before Festus and King Agrippa prior to his final journey to Rome (Acts 25 & 26). After a visit to Mount Carmel, where Elijah confronted the false prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-46), stop at Megiddo, site of Armageddon. (B,D)
Day 3: Tiberius
Visit Magdala and see the recently discovered 1st-century synagogue where It is certain that Jesus taught. Continue to the holy site Capernaum (Luke 4:31- 37) and stand in what is left of the synagogue in which our Lord ministered and see Peter’s house. Then continue to the traditional site where Jesus preached His Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5-7). Visit Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount took place. Hike down Mt Beatitude to the shore of Sea of Galilee (35 minutes very moderate hike). End your day with a stop in Yardenit on the Jordan River, to renew your Baptismal Vows. (B,D)
Day 4: Tiberius
Visit the Dan nature reserve, site of the ancient city of Dan. Proceed to Banias (Caesarea Philippi), where Peter confessed, “You are the Christ” (Matt. 16:13-20). Drive along the ancient Road to Damascus to the Golan Heights area and view Mount Herman. Ascend to Mt. Bental and touch on the geopolitics of the area on. End the day with a pleasant boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. (B,D)
Day 5: Tiberius
Visit the ancient Galilean city of Safed, the highest city in Israel, commanding breathtaking views of Galilee. One of the four holy cities in Israel, it has been a spiritual center since the 1600s when it was the center of Kabbalah. Continue to Nazareth and see Mount Precipice (or Mount Kedumim), where an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus off the cliff (Luke 4:16-30). Proceed to Cana of Galilee where couples will have the opportunity to renew their wedding vows in the church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine at a wedding. (B,D)
Day 6: Tiberius | Jerusalem
Visit Beit She’an, one of the ten Decapolis and see many ancient structures, like the Roman amphitheater where gladiators once fought and the Byzantine bathhouse. Continue to Shiloh, the first resting place of the Holy Ark after entering Israel (Josh 18 – 21, Judges 18:31). Visit the archeological site where the tabernacle believed to be housed and view a movie about biblical Shiloh. End the day in Beth El (Gen 28), where Jacob fell asleep on a stone and dreamed of a ladder stretching between Heaven and Earth. (B,D)
Day 7: Jerusalem
Begin the day with a special archeological sifting project. Visit the Mt. Olives for a breathtaking view of Jerusalem. Walk along the Palm Sunday trail to the ancient garden of Gethsemane and view olive trees from the times of Jesus. Visit the City of David and walk through tunnels used throughout the history of Jerusalem as a means to smuggle in and out of the city, especially during times of siege. (B,D)
Day 8: Jerusalem
Begin your day at Yad Vashem (Holocaust Memorial Museum) and continue to the Israel Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Model of the 2nd temple. Continue to Mt. Herodion, a partly man-made mountain and see the remains of the splendid palace built by King Herod. Then head to Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity. (B,D)

Day 9: Jerusalem | Masada | Dead Sea | Jerusalem
Drive along the Dead Sea shoreline to the fortress of Masada, the greatest castle in history, built by King Herod 2,000 years ago. Ride a cable car up the 1,200-foot high cliff, for an unforgettable tour of this impressive rugged complex with the most fascinating views of the Judean Desert. Enjoy a swim (or rather a float) in the mineral-rich Dead Sea waters. Visit the traditional site of Baptism in Qasr El Yahud, the area of the first baptism on Jordan River. Stop and see Jericho, the oldest known inhabited city in the world, it was destroyed by the power of God (Josh. 5-6). It was there that Jesus encountered Zacchaeus (Luke 19). (B,D)
Day 10: Jerusalem
Visit Mount Zion on the south side of Jerusalem, King David’s city. Pray at the Western Wall and ascend Temple Mount (Herod’s temple). Walk up onto the original temple mount platform where King Herod’s temple stood and visit the Dome of the Rock. Walk through the Old City, visiting the Pool of Bethesda (Jn. 5), and view the shops and the unique lifestyle and customs that have not changed since ancient times. Experience the exhilaration and reality of the resurrection at the Garden Tomb. End the evening with a farewell dinner. (B,D)
Day 11: Jerusalem | Departure from Tel Aviv
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (B,D)
