Itinerary Highlights:

Day 1: Arrival and Insightful Beginnings Arrive at the pulse of Israel’s heart, Ben Gurion Airport, where a dedicated IWorld of Travel representative will usher you through. Settle into the bustling life of Tel Aviv, ready to engage in thought-provoking discussions and interactive activities that frame the narrative of Israel’s ever-evolving map and society.

Day 2: Active Engagement and Cultural Immersion Immerse yourself in the altruistic spirit of Tel Aviv by assisting at the ‘Brothers in Arms’ headquarters, experience the vibrant Hatikva Market’s cultural tapestry, and offer comfort at Tel Hashomer hospital. The day culminates with a show of solidarity at the Hostages Square, standing alongside families advocating for the return of their loved ones.

Day 3: Understanding Borders and Bravery* Venture to the Gaza perimeter, security permitting, for a day of significant encounters with military experts, resilient townsfolk, and the green symbolism of planting a tree in this storied soil. Engage with local journalists to gain a multifaceted perspective on the challenges and triumphs of Israel’s people.

Day 4: Volunteering and Voices of Harmony Lend a hand in Israel’s agricultural heartlands, visit ERAN’s emotional support volunteers, and share moments of humanity with families adapting to new realities post-conflict. A meeting with Arab-Israeli advocate Youssef Hadad will offer unique insights into the diverse fabric of Israeli society.

Day 5: Reflection and Commitment in Jerusalem As we transition to the sacred city of Jerusalem, engage with United Hatzalah’s heroes, honor the memories of the fallen, and savor the flavors of Machane Yehuda Market. Participate in a vital volunteering effort before a contemplative visit to the Western Wall. Our mission concludes with a poignant dinner alongside an Israeli government official, looking ahead to the nation’s future and the role we play in its narrative.

Starting in the dynamic city of Tel Aviv on Monday, May 13th, 2024, we invite you to partake in an impactful exploration deep into the heart of Israel’s communities. From the vibrant streets of Tel Aviv to the challenging frontlines at the Gaza Perimeter, and onwards to the historic and spiritual city of Jerusalem, each day promises a narrative of resilience, hope, and unity.

This journey is an opportunity to experience Israel’s multifaceted culture, listen to powerful stories, and engage in meaningful acts of support, all under the expert care and guidance of IWorld of Travel. Prepare for a profound experience that not only showcases Israel’s beauty but also reflects the strength and spirit of its people. Join us on this heartfelt mission across Israel, where every moment is a chance to connect, support, and inspire.

Day 1: Arrival in Tel Aviv – The City That Never Sleeps

  • Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where an IWorld of Travel representative will assist you through customs and to your transfer.
  • Evening: Check in to your hotel in Tel Aviv, followed by a welcome dinner, where you’ll meet fellow participants and prepare for the days ahead.
  • Activity: Engage in “Framing Your Visit,” a concise, interactive activity with Joe Perlov. Together, you’ll build a map of Israel and the Middle East, delving into the region’s history and current dynamics. This session offers a focused insight into the area’s complex narrative.
  • Overnight: Stay at the Hilton in Tel Aviv.


Day 2: Embrace the Community Spirit

  • Morning: After breakfast, visit the headquarters of ‘Brothers in Arms’ at Expo Tel Aviv.
  • Midday: Explore Tel Aviv’s Hatikva Market, sampling local flavors and immersing yourself in Israeli cultural diversity.
  • Afternoon: Visit Tel Hashomer Hospital, offering support to wounded soldiers and civilians.
  • Evening: Show solidarity with the hostages and missing families forum, followed by a self-guided dinner in the city.
  • Activity: Walk through ‘Hostages Square’ to understand local advocacy for hostages’ return.
  • Overnight: Stay in Tel Aviv.


Day 3: Understanding Resilience – The Gaza Perimeter*

  • Morning: Depart for the Gaza perimeter area with security clearance.
  • Midday: Lunch en route, with discussions led by military experts on the region’s challenges.
  • Afternoon: Visit towns affected by conflict, such as Ofakim or Netivot, and participate in a tree-planting ceremony to contribute to the land’s revival.
  • Evening: Return to Tel Aviv and meet with an Israeli journalist for a briefing and Q&A session.
  • Overnight: Stay in Tel Aviv.

Day 4: Volunteer and Connect

  • Evening: Meet with Arab-Israeli advocate Youssef Hadad for insights into the region’s social dynamics.
  • Overnight: Stay in Tel Aviv.


Day 5: Reflection and Commitment in Jerusalem

  • Morning: Travel to Jerusalem and engage with first responders from United Hatzalah.
  • Midday: Visit Israel’s National Memorial Hall for Fallen Soldiers and participate in a commemorative ceremony.
  • Afternoon: Volunteer with organizations aiding displaced communities and visit the Western Wall for a moment of personal reflection.
  • Evening: Conclude the mission with a closing dinner in Tel Aviv, featuring a government official discussing future support for affected communities.
  • Departure: Late evening transfer to the airport for flights home.
