Day 1: Arrival in San Jose
Upon arrival, meeting, assistance and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: San Jose | Tortuguero
Transfer to Tortuguero, in the Caribbean Lowlands, via the emerald-green mass of vegetation of the central mountain range. Afterwards, sail through canals sheltered in the jungle of the rainforest with lush greenery of tropical crops as well as a variety of mammals and bird species. Visit the village of Tortuguero where the local residents will teach you about their lifestyle as well as the significant conservation efforts to protect the sea turtles. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Tortuguero
Tour Tortuguero National Park, a magical area where the lagoons, rivers, beaches, and canals are a never-ending study of marine biology, in one of the most remote locations in the country. Depending on the weather conditions, you may choose between a guided hike through the jungle or sail the secondary canals of this natural paradise. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Tortuguero | La Fortuna
Morning transfer to La Fortuna. On the route, stop at Guapiles for amazing views of the mountains and one of the major sources of revenue in the area: agriculture. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the hot springs located at your resort. (B,L)
Day 5: La Fortuna
After breakfast, visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges, one of the most beautiful eco-friendly projects in Costa Rica. Abundant with lush vegetation and a large variety of birds and animals, you will discover the rainforest canopy from an unrivaled perspective. In the afternoon, visit Natura Park and observe the regenerating forests home to different types of migrant and resident animals. (B)
Day 6: La Fortuna | Manuel Antonio
Transfer to Manuel Antonio and check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is yours at leisure. (B)
Day 7: Manuel Antonio
Morning visit to Manuel Antonio National Park, which has one of the most impressive landscapes in the world, with white sand beaches, lush foliage and beautiful coral reefs, as well as large land and marine biodiversity. On your hike, you can observe several species of monkeys, iguanas, and birds possibly even the three-toed sloth. After your hike, the rest of the day is yours to continue exploring in the park or to relax at the beach. (B)
Day 8: Manuel Antonio
The whole day is yours to relax, explore, enjoy! A wide range of incredible optional* activities is available. (B)

Day 9: Manuel Antonio | Departure from San Jose
