Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The balance of the day is yours to explore this city.

DAY 2
Tallinn

Your morning city tour begins in the Old Town of Tallinn, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the 9th-century Toompea Castle, today home the Parliament of Estonia, Alexander Nevski’s Orthodox Cathedral and the Lutheran Dome Church. After a visit to The Lower Town, continue to tour the surrounding areas of Tallinn. After a stop for lunch, continue to the open-air museum in Rocca al Mare, which depicts daily life on Estonian farms in the 18th-20th centuries. (B)

DAY 3
Tallinn | Riga

Depart Tallinn for Riga, the capital of Latvia. You’ll have the rest of the day to spend on your own, getting to know the city. (B)

DAY 4
Riga

Your morning tour features the most famous sites of Riga including the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the National Opera and the Academy of Arts. The remainder of the day is yours at leisure. (B)

DAY 5
Riga

Drive outside the city brings you to Sigulda situated in Gauja National Park, the largest national park in Latvia. See the town, surrounding area and the ruins of Sigulda Medieval Castle as well as Sigulda New Castle and Gutman’s Cave. After returning to Riga, the remainder of the day is on your own. (B)

DAY 6
Riga | Vilnius

Visit Rundale Palace, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, that was damaged during World War II but has since been restored to its former glory. Beautiful parks and fountains surround the Palace, making it a true “Pearl of Latvia.” Continue on to Vilnius, one of the oldest cities in the Baltics. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)

DAY 7
Vilnius

Your morning tour of Old Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage site, features Vilnius Cathedral, 16th-century St. Ann’s Church, the Gate of Dawn, University Courtyards and the Town Hall square. After a stop for lunch, continue to Trakai, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Here, you will see the beautiful red brick Castle built on an island in Galve Lake. (B)

DAY 8
Vilnius

Tour the Old Town of Kaunas and the art gallery of the famous artist and composer, M. K. Ciurlionis. Continue to Rumsiskes, see one of Europe’s largest open-air ethnographic museums. This museum displays the heritage of Lithuania with a vast collection of authentic re-erected buildings that show where Lithuanian peasants lived and worked. (B)

Depart Vilnius

Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
