DAY 1
Arrive in Havana

Welcome to Havana! Upon arrival, transfer to your elegant hotel in the oceanfront Vedado district, considered the Beverly Hills of Havana. Panoramic bus tour through modern Havana and the Plaza de la Revolucion. In the evening a Welcome to Cuba dinner. (B, D)

DAY 2
Havana

Explore Old Havana to admire the ongoing restoration transforming this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among the sites are the Old City plazas, gleaming colonial places, synagogues and Cuba’s only kosher butcher. Then visit Finca Vigia “Lookout Farm,” which was Ernest Hemingway’s winter home from 1939 to 1960 and see the author’s 9,000 volume library, yacht and typewriter. Later, travel to the port of Havana for a visit to the famous Almacenes de San Jose crafts market. (B,L,D)

DAY 3
Havana

Visit the El Patronato Jewish Community Center and meet its president and other members of the Havana Jewish community. Tour the center’s library and visit the nursery school classrooms. See Temple Beth Shalom. Meet with the leadership of Hadassah-Cuba. Continue to the Centro Hebreo Sefaradi (the Sephardic Community Center and Synagogue) and meet community members. Visit Fusterlandia, the community art project of José Rodríguez Fuster, a native Cuban artist. (B,L,D)

Depart Havana

Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
