Arrival in Quito

Upon arrival, welcome and transfer to your hotel. Then enjoy a city tour of Quito* including Independence Square, Presidential Palace, Municipal Building and the Archbishop’s Palace. Later, continue to the Church of San Francisco, one of the greatest religious buildings of the New World. and to El Panecillo hill, for a breathtaking view of the city.

Quito | Bomoli Cloud Forest

Transfer to Bombolí, on the southern outskirts of Quito, to a private reserve at an altitude of 3000 meters with more than 120 hectares of upper montane forest. This amazing reserve has been cared for by a couple for more than thirty years, making it a place of indescribable beauty and unbelievable ecological wealth. Spend the day volunteering at the reserve. (B,L,D)

Bomoli Cloud Forest

Continue to volunteer at the reserve. Participate in some activities such as reforestation of endemic plants, marking pathways or helping in the garden. (B,L,D)

Bomoli Cloud Forest | Quito

In the morning, participate in the production of cheese other volunteer work. In the afternoon, return to Quito. (B,L)

Quito | Isabella Island

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the Galapagos. After lunch, take a 2 1/2 hour speedboat ride to Isabela, the largest island of the archipelago. Then transfer to Campo Duro Farm, where people can come and contribute to the fragile ecosystem of the Galapagos. (B,L,D)

Isabella Island

Your guide will drive you to one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the world, Sierra Negra. Take a two-hour trekking tour to enjoy this wonderful and unique scenery. After lunch, you will work with interns and other volunteers to eradicate invasive plants. (B,L,D)

Isabella Island

Visit Las Tintoreras Islet where herds of white tip sharks can often be seen as well as marine iguanas and sea lions. Afterwards, we will have the opportunity to snorkel. In the afternoon, we will participate in building paths for hiking in the area and develop further ecotourism activities with guidance from those at the site. (B,L,D)

Depart Isabella Island

Take a speedboat back to Puerto Ayora. Then transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B,L,D)
