Local Morning Discovery
Early morning travel with guide to see a Tak Bath ceremony in a temple. During the ceremony, devoted residents of Luang Prabang kneel on the sidewalk, bearing food in their hands, which they offer to the monks as they walk by clad in saffron-orange robes. This culturally significant moment takes place in a peaceful and respectful manner, with no words exchanged between the monks and the inhabitants making the offerings. After, tour a bustling local market, and enjoy soup or coffee at a restaurant beside the Mekong river while watching the daily routine of the residents. Return to hotel for full breakfast.
