Welcome at Ben Gurion airport and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Tiberias
After breakfast drive to Mount of Beatitudes, site of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount, and enjoy the commanding view of the Sea of Galilee. Drive to the old city of Safed, one of Judaism’s four Holy Cities, where the Kabbalah was created during the 16th Century. Visit the ancient synagogues and Artists’ Quarter before continuing to Nazareth to see the Church of Annunciation, Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well. Return to hotel for overnight in Tiberias. (B)
After breakfast, drive to Tel Dan Nature Reserve and the site of the ancient city of Dan. Proceed to Banias (Caesarea Philippi), where Peter confessed “You are the Christ.” Continue traveling north to the Golan Heights area where we discover the Road to Damascus and view Mount Herman. Ascend Mt. Bental and hear about the area’s geopolitics. Drive along the ancient Road to Damascus on the Golan Heights to the Talmudic Village of Qatzerin to see a replica of an ancient village and learn about how people lived at that time. End the day in Yardenit, baptism site on the shores of Sea of Galilee. Return to hotel in Tiberias for overnight. (B)

Akko (Acre) Tour: A major port city in biblical times and an important area of conquest for invading armies. In the 12th century, the Ottomans built a citadel on top of the 200-year-old Crusader fortress. Today, the site is home to the Underground Prisoners Museum, dating to the British Mandate period (1917-1948), when members of the Jewish underground armies fought against British control over Israel. Continue to Rosh HaNikra Kibbutz on the Mediterranean coast at the northwestern tip of Israel. After a cable car ride down to the grottoes, witness nature in all its glory.
Jeep Tour through the Golan Heights: Home to some of Israel’s most gorgeous scenery, and an important area during Israel’s wars, serving as a buffer between Israel and Syria to the north. Tour and tasting at the Golan Heights Winery where the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are Israel’s best.
