DAY 1
Saturday: Arrival in Dubrovnik

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure followed by a welcome dinner. (D)

DAY 2
Sunday: Dubrovnik

Morning walking tour of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. See beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches, monasteries, palaces and fountains, including the Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the city your way, browse through the shops, stroll along the ancient city walls or simply relax. (B)

DAY 3
Monday: Dubrovnik | Split

Arrive in Split. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the historic inner city, built around the massive Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then on to see the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, the 1,700-year-old Jupiter’s Temple and many contemporary attractions. (B)

DAY 4
Tuesday: Split | Trogir | Plitvice Lakes

Visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia’s oldest and largest national parks and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Enjoy a beautiful walking tour of the lower lakes. Remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. (B,D)

DAY 5
Wednesday: Plitvice Lakes | Bled

A fantastic adventure awaits as you tour the subterranean world by miniature electric train. Then continue to Bled, located in the Julian Alps. (B,D)

DAY 6
Thursday: Bled

Your morning tour of this lake resort features the town with its lovely lakeshore and the 11th-century Bled Castle, the oldest Slovenian castle. Perched on a cliff 400 feet about Bled Lake, it is one of the country’s most visited attractions. You may wish to visit the “old church”, housing a fine collection of religious art located on an island in the middle of the lake. (B)

DAY 7
Friday: Bled | Ljubljana | Zagreb

Travel to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, where your sightseeing includes a visit to the open-air market, City Hall, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. Continue to Zagreb where dinner has been arranged for you. (B,D)

DAY 8
Saturday: Zagreb

A morning tour of the city features the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, Parliament and the Government Palace. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the winding streets of the Old Town, or you may choose to take an optional excursion with dinner into the surrounding countryside. (B)

Sunday: Depart Zagreb

Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
