DAY 2
Porto

Morning tour the historical center of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your tour includes the 19th-century Stock Exchange Palace* and its breathtaking Arabian Room as well as the Lello bookshop, an exquisite landmark dating back to the early 1900s. (B)

Porto | Belmonte

Drive to Viseu, explore the city’s historical quarter housing one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Portugal. Continue to Belmonte. (B)

DAY 4
Belmonte

Explore Belmonte’s Jewish quarter, home to the 600-year-old Jewish community, as well as the Roman ruins to the north of the city. (B)

DAY 5
Belmonte | Coimbra

Visit the Jewish quarter of Guarda – the Jewish community dates back to the 13th century. Continue to Aveiro and tour the famous Convent of Jesus now the City Museum. (B)

DAY 6
Coimbra | Evora

Tour the University of Coimbra, established in 1290, one of the oldest universities in the world. Travel to Fatima one of the world’s largest Catholic shrines. (B)

DAY 7
Evora | Lisbon

Exploring Evora, one of the best-preserved ancient towns in Portugal and a UNESCO World Heritage site. (B)

DAY 8
Lisbon

Private sightseeing tour of Lisbon, including the UNESCO World Heritage site complex of Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery. Continue to St. George’s Castle, a Moorish castle built on a hill overlooking the city’s old quarter. Later visit city museums, churches and shopping plazas. In the evening enjoy a typical Fado performance. (B)

DAY 9
Lisbon

Excursion to the quaint and aristocratic town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Cascais, to savor some of Portugal’s cuisine at a seaside restaurant followed by a walking tour of the city center. (B)

DAY 10
Depart Lisbon

Return your car to the airport and continue to your flight home. (B)
