Day 1: Arrival in Yangon
Upon arrival, meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Yangon | Bagan
Morning flight to Bagan, an ancient city with over 2,000 pagodas and temples. Bagan is the largest architectural site in Asia; most of the red and white pagodas were built in the 11th and 12th centuries. (B,L,D)
Day 3: Bagan | Mandalay
Flight to Mandalay, former capital of Burma and an important cultural and historical center. Sightseeing includes some of the most significant pagodas. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Mandalay
Full-day excursion, starting in Amarapura to visit the Mahagandayon Monastery, the country’s most prominent monastic college. Continue to Sagaing, the religious center of Myanmar, to see some of the famous temples. Then, travel by horse cart to the ancient city of Inwa and visit the Bagaya Monastery and the Nanmyin Watch Tower. (B,L,D)
Day 5: Mandalay | Heho | Inle Lake
Morning flight to Heho, from where you will drive to Inle Lake. Enjoy your boat trip on the calm waters dotted with patches of floating vegetation and busy fishing canoes. (B,L,D)
Day 6: Inle Lake | Heho | Yangon
Drive to Heho for your flight back to Yangon. After transferring to your hotel, enjoy a city tour, including the 2,600-year-old Sule Pagoda, which is located in the heart of the city and the National Museum. Before dusk, travel to the 326-foot-tall Shwedagon Pagoda that sits on a hill 168 feet high, overlooking the city. It is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar. From this amazing viewpoint, experience the magnificent Burmese sunset. In the evening, enjoy dinner in a fine Burmese restaurant with traditional music. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Depart Yangon
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
