Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your lodge.

Day 2: Arusha | Tarangire
Departure to the Tarangire National Park for a full-day safari including a picnic lunch. Considered as one of the best refuges for Tanzanian wildlife, the Tarangire National Park is famous around the world for its elephants, baobabs and lions but also gives you many chances to see plenty of other wildlife. Day 3: Tarangire | Manyara | Ngorongoro Conservation Area
In the morning, you’re off to Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch under the acacias. Manyara National Park is the most intimate park in Northern Tanzania. The cliffs of the Rift Valley bordering the lake and give the park a beautiful setting in which you can experience the fabulous flights of thousands of pelicans, ibis or flamingos. All around the lake is a carousel of colors and sounds. (B,D)

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area | Olduvai
Full-day game drive in  Crater with picnic lunch. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Ngorongoro may be the most famous wildlife reserve in the world. This caldera, more than 10 miles in diameter, and the ramparts reaching 2,000 feet high is a refuge to fauna, flora and exceptional animal life, including the Big Five: buffalo, elephants, leopards, lions and rhinos. In the evening, a short walk with a Massai to observe the sunset from a kopje. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Olduvai | Serengeti
In the morning, departure to Serengeti National Park where you have two exciting days of game drives with picnic lunches or at camp. Serengeti National Park is huge (over 5,600 miles) and includes a wide range of topography and animal life.  From large herds of zebras to crocodiles along the river, the 3 million large mammals that live here make this park unique the planet over.  Two UNESCO World Heritage Sites and two Biosphere Reserves have been established here and its unique ecosystem has inspired writers, filmmakers, photographers and scientists. Day 6: Serengeti

Day 7: Serengeti | Grumeti
In the morning, depart for Grumeti Game Reserve and two days of game drives which will include lunches and a very special “Night Game Drive and Walking Safari.” Located adjacent to the Serengeti National Park, the reserve was created by the Tanzanian government in 1994 in order to protect the path of the annual wildebeest migration and indigenous biodiversity of the vast ecosystem. This 350,000 acre reserve prides itself on low impact tourism and preservation of the life found within it. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Grumeti

Day 9: Serengeti | Departure from Arusha
In the morning head to Seronera airstrip and board on a regular flight to Arusha. After lunch, transfer back to the airport for your return international flight. (B,L)
