Day 1: Arrival in Malta
Arrival to Malta, transfer to Marsaxlokk.
Lunch: Local fish in La Nostra Padrona Restaurant.
Walk on the promenade, admire the Maltese traditional fishing boats, Luzzu.
Drop off at your hotel. Check in.
Day 2: Full day Valletta and the 3 cities
Breakfast at hotel.
Explore Valletta, the capital city. Visit St. John’s Co-Cathedral and Upper Barrakka Gardens.
Visit the Grandmaster’s Palace and the National Museum of Archaeology.
Lunch: Try some Maltese ftira (traditional bread) filled with local ingredients at Café Cordina (the oldest cafeteria in Valletta)
Afternoon: cross with the boats to Birgu (10 min crossing). Walking tour of Birgu, Bormla, Isla.
Visit to the Inquisitors Palace & Malta Maritime Museum
Back to the hotel.
Day 3: Gozo Island
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning: Take a ferry to Gozo Island. Visit the Ġgantija Temples, the oldest free-standing structures in the world.
Lunch: Taste some local delicacies at a traditional Gozitan restaurant. Cima Restaurant in Xlendi
Afternoon: Explore the Citadel in Victoria and enjoy the views. We will also visit Dwejra, Inland Sea.
Dinner: Have a cozy dinner in Xlendi Bay, known for its seafood restaurants. (Back at the hotel around 8 or 9pm.)
Day 4: Mdina, Rabat and Palazzo Parisio
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning: Our First stop is Palazzo Parisio. This magnificent 18th century palace whispers the secrets of the Grandmaster of the Order of the Knights of St. John. It shows vision and love for design of the wealthy Maltese banker and merchant Marquis Giuseppe Scicluna who bought the palace in 1898, renovated it and had it redesigned in all its splendor.
Then we will Explore the medieval city of Mdina, also known as the “Silent City”. Visit St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Mdina Dungeons.
Lunch: Enjoy a Maltese platter with local cheese, olives, and cold cuts in Fontanella.
Afternoon: Visit the catacombs in Rabat and stroll through the town’s quaint streets.
Dinner: Try some traditional Maltese rabbit stew for dinner in Palazzo Castelletti.
Day 5: Dingli, Blue Grotto, The Megalithic Temples.
Breakfast: Start your day with a hearty breakfast.
Morning: We stop at the Dingli cliffs for an amazing cliff view. Short walk.
Drive to the Blue grotto. Take a boat tour to the Blue Grotto and admire its stunning sea caves and crystal-clear waters. (weather permitting)
Lunch: Have lunch at a seaside restaurant at the blue grotto.
Afternoon: Visit the Megalithic Temples, older than the pyramids of Egypt. Hagar Qim.
Dinner: Enjoy fresh fish or seafood at a local restaurant.
Day 6: Beekeeping experience
Breakfast at hotel.
Morning: Beekeeping experience. This experience focuses on the ancient tradition of beekeeping and together with as seasoned professional you will discover the old and modern methods of apiculture. Taste the honey together with some local nibbled and refreshments, while enyoing a conversation with rural guide and host.
Afternoon: Lunch at a local restorant
Back to the hotel.
Day 7: Beach Day
Breakfast: Have a light breakfast at your accommodation or a beachside café.
Morning: Spend the morning relaxing on one of Malta’s beautiful beaches, such as Golden Bay or Ghajn Tuffieha.
Lunch: Enjoy a picnic on the beach or have lunch at a nearby beach bar.
Afternoon: Continue relaxing on the beach or explore nearby coastal towns.
Dinner: Have a seafood barbecue or dine at a beachside restaurant.
Day 8: Leisure Day and Departure
