Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok
Upon arrival, meeting and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, unwind or explore this exotic and bustling city on your own.

Day 2: Bangkok
City tour of Bangkok, starting with the Grand Palace, built in 1782 and home to the royal court for 150 years. Continue to the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand. Finish your city tour with stops at the Tower of the Nine Planets and Great Throne Hall.  (B)

Day 3: Bangkok | Luang Prabang (Laos)
Morning flight to Luang Prabang in Laos. In the afternoon, visit some of the historic temples in the area. (B)

Day 4: Luang Prabang
Morning visit to the National Museum and Wat Mai. Later, excursion by traditional boat along the Mekong River, including a visit the Pak Ou Caves with their thousands of Buddha images. (B)

Day 5: Luang Prabang | Siem Reap (Cambodia)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia (via Bangkok). Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.  (B)

Day 6: Siem Reap
Full-day tour visiting the temples in Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site Discover and the symbol of Cambodia, and Angkor Thom, the most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. In the early evening, climb up the Phnom Bakheng temple to see the stunning sunset over Angkor Wat.  (B)

Day 7: Siem Reap (Angkor Wat)
Continue touring Angkor Wat, visit the Angkor conservation area, the Temple of Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, and other unforgettable sites.  (B)

Day 8: Siem Reap | Hanoi (Vietnam)
Morning journey by boat up the Tonle Sap River and visit the Floating Fishing Village. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi, Vietnam. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.  (B)

Day 9: Hanoi
Enjoy a tour of some of Hanoi’s most remarkable sites, including the vast Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, including the mausoleum, Presidential Palace and museum; the 11th-century Temple of Literature, a peaceful series of walled courtyards and graceful gateways which is one of the best-preserved examples of traditional Vietnamese architecture; One Pillar Pagoda, one of Vietnam’s most iconic temples; and the tranquil Hoan Liem Lake  (B)

Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed Mondays, Fridays and during September and October. Some sites might be closed during Lunar New Year.

Day 10: Hanoi
Excursion to picturesque Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the bay by boat, stopping at one of the islands to see the huge limestone caves.  (B,L)

Day 11: Hanoi | Ho Chi Minh City
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, visit many of the cities most interesting attractions, including the Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall, colorful Ben Thanh Market.  (B)

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were used extensively in the Vietnam War. Continue to the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh before returning to the city.  (B)

Day 13: Depart Ho Chi Minh City
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.  (B)
