Day 1: Arrival in Prague
Welcome to Prague! You will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city. In the evening, enjoy a special welcome dinner. (D)
Day 2: Prague
Your tour of Prague includes a view of the 14th-century Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and the Old Town Hall with its medieval astronomical clock. Your afternoon is at leisure. At night, enjoy a wonderful cultural performance. (B)
Day 3: Prague
After breakfast, continue to tour historic Prague, starting with the Prague Castle, the largest ancient castle in the world and the 700-year-old St. Vitus Cathedral. The balance of this day is yours to shop, visit museums or simply stroll the city. (B)
Day 4: Prague | Vienna
Morning departure for Vienna, the capital of Austria. The remainder of the day is at leisure to catch the spirit of the “City of the Waltz.” Dinner will be at a local restaurant. (B,D)
Day 5: Vienna
Today your sightseeing tour includes the Parliament, State Opera House, City Hall and a tour of the interior of the former imperial palace – the majestic Hofburg. (B)
Optional: Evening visit to the imperial Schoenbrunn Palace for a cultural performance.
Day 6: Vienna
Morning visit to the Kunsthistorisches Museum, one of the great art museums of the world that includes celebrated works by Titian, Cranach, Canaletto, Rubens and Velazquez. The afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy beautiful Vienna. (B)
Day 7: Vienna | Budapest
Transfer to Budapest, through the Austrian and Hungarian countryside. (B)
Day 8: Budapest
Considered the most sophisticated of Eastern European capitals, this lovely city divided by the Danube has retained its special Hungarian flavor. Your morning panoramic tour includes the Parliament, Heroes Square and Gellert Hill. The afternoon and evening are at leisure. (B)
Day 10: Budapest
A morning panoramic sightseeing tour includes the Castle Hill area, with its beautiful cobblestone streets; Fishermen’s Bastion, where you can see impressive views from lookout towers and the Buda Castle, a massive structure, now home to the Hungarian National Gallery and The Budapest History Museum. At night, a very special farewell dinner with entertainment. (B,D)
