Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Seoul
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind.

Day 2: Seoul
Morning private car sightseeing includes Yongin Folk Village, a living museum of Korean heritage. Witness traditional ceremonies, music performances and artisans practicing ancient crafts. Also visit the imposing Suwon Hwaseong, an 18th-century fortress that is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It forms a nearly complete ring around Suwon’s old downtown, running along both flat lowlands and steep hillsides. (B)

Day 3: Seoul | Busan
Transfer by train to Busan, Korea’s biggest port city. Then enjoy a city tour, including the sprawling Jagalchi Fish Market, the country’s largest seafood market and Haeundae Beach, one of the country’s most famous beaches. Stroll in charming Taejongdae Park with its dramatic cliffs. (B)

Day 4: Busan | Gyeongju
Morning private car transfer to Gyeongju, ancient capital of the Silla Kingdon. Explore the imposing Bulguksa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site that houses seven National Treasures of South Korea. Later visit the National Museum and then the 7th-century Cheomseongdae, Asia’s oldest existing astronomical observatory. (B)

Day 5: Gyeongju | Seoul
Return to Seoul by high-speed train. Upon arrival, tour the Blue House (Note: view from outside only), and Gyeongbok Palace. Continue to the traditional Insadong neighborhood with its antique stores, and exotic Namdaemun Gate market (B)

Day 6: Seoul
The day is yours to explore the city. (B)

Day 7: Depart Seoul
Transfer to the airport for your return flight. (B)
