Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Seoul

Upon arrival at Seoul’s international airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax and unwind after your journey. The evening is yours to explore the vibrant city at your own pace.

 

Day 2: Seoul – Traditional and Modern Wonders

Start your day with a private car tour of Yongin Folk Village, a living museum showcasing Korea’s rich heritage through traditional ceremonies, music performances, and artisanal crafts. Continue to the imposing Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, an 18th-century UNESCO World Heritage site that forms a nearly complete ring around Suwon’s old downtown. The fortress offers a fascinating blend of flat lowlands and steep hillsides. Return to Seoul for an evening at leisure. (B)

 

Day 3: Journey to Busan

This morning, transfer by high-speed train to Busan, Korea’s largest port city. Enjoy a guided tour of Busan, including a visit to the sprawling Jagalchi Fish Market, the largest seafood market in the country. Relax at Haeundae Beach, one of Korea’s most famous beaches, and stroll through the charming Taejongdae Park, known for its dramatic cliffs. Spend the night in Busan. (B)

 

Day 4: Explore Gyeongju – The Ancient Capital

Transfer to Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom. Visit the awe-inspiring Bulguksa Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage site housing seven national treasures of South Korea. Later, explore the National Museum and the 7th-century Cheomseongdae, Asia’s oldest existing astronomical observatory. Return to Busan in the evening. (B)

 

Day 5: Return to Seoul

Travel back to Seoul by high-speed train. Upon arrival, tour the Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae), the executive office and residence of the South Korean President (viewed from outside only). Continue to Gyeongbok Palace, a stunning example of traditional Korean architecture. Explore the traditional Insadong neighborhood, known for its antique stores and teahouses, and the exotic Namdaemun Gate market. (B)

 

Day 6: Free Exploration Day in Seoul

Today is free for you to explore Seoul at your leisure. Visit the bustling shopping districts, explore additional cultural sites, or relax in one of the city’s many parks. Your tour manager will be available to provide recommendations and assistance. (B)

 

Day 7: Departure from Seoul

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Transfer to the airport for your return flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of your South Korean adventure. (B)
