Welcome to Bhutan! Upon arrival in Paro, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure or take a gentle walk through the town. Welcome dinner and overnight in Paro. (D)

Day 2: Paro | Punakha
Begin your day with a scenic drive to Punakha, crossing the majestic Dochu La Pass (10,000 ft), where, on a clear day, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Visit the beautiful 108 chortens at the pass before descending into the lush Punakha Valley. In the afternoon, explore the iconic Punakha Dzong, nestled at the confluence of two rivers. Overnight in Punakha. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Punakha | Thimphu
Start the morning with a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility dedicated to the “Divine Madman.” Then journey to Thimphu, Bhutan’s quaint capital city. Upon arrival, visit the National Memorial Chorten and enjoy time to explore local markets and artisan shops. Overnight in Thimphu. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Thimphu | Paro
After breakfast, visit the Buddha Dordenma statue, perched on a hillside with sweeping valley views. Later, travel back to Paro, where you’ll visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples. The afternoon is yours to relax or prepare for tomorrow’s big adventure. Overnight in Paro. (B,L,D)
