Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo
Upon arrival in Tokyo, you will have a shared shuttle transfer from the airport to the hotel with meet and greet service.
Day 2: Tokyo
Today you will have a full-day motor-coach tour of Tokyo.First, Visit Tokyo Tower and enjoy a panorama of Tokyo from the main observation platform, then head to the Meiji Shrine, a fine example of Japanese shrine architecture, nestled in a peaceful, picturesque area. Afterwards, you will pass by the Akasaka Guest House & National Diet Building (drive by).
Next, you will have a pleasant walk through the East Garden of the Imperial Palace, a place of historical interest and scenic beauty.(Mon., Fri. & when East Garden is closed, visit Imperial Palaza Plaza, Double Bridge instead of the East Garden. Visit the inner moat,15-foot thick walls and pine trees surrounding the 250-acre fortress, home of the Emperor and Empress.) and drive through the Ginza shopping District.
After a Japanese style lunch, you will see the Hama Rikyu Garden This garden is a typical daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) garden in the Edo period with a tidal pond. You will then have a boat ride on the Sumida River, from a Port of Tokyo, Hinode Pier to Asakusa and see a harmonious blend of old and new Tokyo.Finally, walk down an active shopping street, Nakamise, leading to one of the finest Buddhist temples in Japan, Asakusa Kannon Temple. Day 3: Tokyo | Hakone | My. Fuji
Today you will have a full-day motor-coach tour to Hakone and Mount Fuji.The tour starts in Shimbashi, wheree you will board the tour bus and drive to Hakone. This ride takes approx. 2 1/2 hours.Upon arrival, you will have a Japanese style lunch and then take the Hakone Sky Gondala, then tour the Owakudani Valley.Afterwards, take a pirate boat cruise on Lake Ashi.You will return to Tokyo later in the day. Day 4: Hakone | Odawara | Kyoto
Today, transfer to Odawara station where you will take the bullet train to Kyoto. (B)
Day 5: Kyoto
Today you will have a full-day motor-coach tour of Kyoto. The Tour will take you to world heritage sites and other popular spots in Kyoto.You will be visiting Nijo Castle. Kinkakuji temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace (When Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed, Kitano-Tenmangu Shrine will be visited instead).Enjoy a Japanese / Western style buffet lunch.After lunch, continue on to Heian Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo Temple and Kiyomizudera temple. Day 6: Kyoto | Osaka
Today, transfer to the train station where you will take the bullet train from Kyoto to Shin-Osaka station. (B)
Day 7: Osaka
Today you will have a full-day walking tour of Osaka. You will visit Osaka’s famous sightseeing spots and learn about the city’s history and about Osaka today. The city is known as “AQUA METROPOLIS OSAKA”, and you can enjoy the scenery of Osaka by boat.
Visit the Floating Garden Observatory then have a Japanese western-style lunch.Afterwards, you will continue on to Osaka Castle, Osaka Aqua Liner Cruise. (B)
Day 8: Depart Osaka
Shared shuttle transfer from hotel to airport (KIX or ITM), pick up in hotel lobby. (B)
