Imagine beginning your Croatian journey in Dubrovnik, where ancient stone walls rise above the shimmering Adriatic and centuries of history unfold along marble-paved streets. After a private arrival transfer, settle into the elegant Royal Ariston Hotel on the Lapad Peninsula, where sweeping sea views and a tranquil coastal setting offer a graceful beginning to the days ahead.
The following afternoon, you’ll transfer to the port and board the Avantura—your intimate home at sea. Settle into your cabin, gather for a Welcome Reception, and ease into the relaxed rhythm of small-ship cruising before setting out along one of Europe’s most captivating coastlines.
Your first full day pairs Dubrovnik’s cultural treasures with unforgettable views from Mount Srđ. Ride the cable car above the city, then follow a local guide through the Old Town, passing landmarks such as Onofrio’s Fountain, Orlando’s Column, and the Church of St. Blaise. From there, sail toward the peaceful island village of Šipanska Luka—or nearby Slano—where a Welcome Dinner marks the beginning of your voyage.
Each day reveals another facet of the Dalmatian coast. Wander beside the saltwater lakes of Mljet National Park and visit the centuries-old Benedictine monastery on St. Mary’s Islet. Explore Korčula’s beautifully preserved medieval streets, discover Hvar’s historic architecture and lively waterfront, and cruise to the island of Biševo for the chance to witness the luminous aquamarine glow of the Blue Cave.
Continue to Vis or the fishing village of Komiža, where unspoiled landscapes and a slower pace preserve the atmosphere of another era. Then sail onward to Split for a guided walk through the living history of Diocletian’s Palace before concluding in Trogir, a UNESCO-listed town shaped by Greek, Roman, and Venetian influences.
Along the way, leisurely swim stops, lunches on board, guided cultural touring, and time to explore independently create a journey that feels both enriching and unhurried. The voyage culminates with a festive Captain’s Dinner in Trogir—a final evening to gather, reflect, and celebrate the beauty of Croatia.
This is more than a cruise. It is a thoughtfully paced passage through island villages, historic cities, crystalline waters, and centuries of Adriatic culture—crafted to leave travelers with memories that linger long after they return home.
