Day 1 | Monday · June 8, 2026 | Welcome to Venice

Upon arrival in Venice airport, after you make your way through customs and luggage claim, look for your driver in the international arrivals area, this person will be holding the IWorld of Travel sign with our logo and your name on it.

Venice

There’s a reason why it’s so easy to get lost in Venice. This dreamlike city of palaces, bridges, canals, and ultra-narrow lanes was designed to look the same throughout so that potential foreign invaders would get lost but locals would know exactly how and where to flee.

Anyone who has spent even an afternoon in this singular city, which feels like it was concocted in the imagination of the gods, can certainly relate to this. Today the only lost invaders in Venice are the ample amounts of tourists who descend upon this near-fantasy city with heroic regularity. Venice may be too attractive and charming for its own good but people will never stop coming.

Like Prague and Amsterdam, Venice isn’t really a place to check sights off of a list. Sure, there is the extravagant St. Mark’s Basilica (and its superlative square of the same name), the Rialto Bridge, the Gallerie dell’Accademia (and all those Titians and Bellinis), the ornate Doges Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs, among other sites to see, but Venice is all about wandering. Or, to put it a more appropriate way, getting lost.

La Serenissima, as it’s famously called, may be the only place on the planet where one won’t necessarily feel angst when adrift in a sea of twisting lanes and ubiquitous bridges. In fact, to get lost in Venice is to feel alive; so much so, finding one’s way might be the only disappointment Venice can (eventually) offer.

Then, you will depart in your private water taxi to your hotel.

Hotel Concordia

Hotel Concordia offers guests an enchanting blend of history and modern comfort in the heart of Venice. Just steps from the iconic St. Mark’s Basilica and St. Mark’s Square, this family-managed hotel provides an ideal base for exploring the city’s rich cultural tapestry. Elegantly appointed, the 51 rooms reflect the charm of 18th-century Venice while incorporating contemporary amenities. Each room is uniquely decorated, offering a comfortable retreat with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and luxurious marble bathrooms. With options ranging from Classic to Suites featuring stunning views, guests will find a perfect sanctuary after a day of sightseeing in one of the world’s most captivating cities.

Experience & Activities

Guests at Hotel Concordia can indulge in a rich hot and cold buffet breakfast, setting a delightful tone for the day ahead. The variety of options ensures a satisfying start, whether one prefers a hearty meal or lighter fare. After a day spent exploring nearby attractions like the Doge’s Palace and Rialto Bridge, visitors can unwind at the cozy cocktail bar, perfect for relaxing with a drink and sharing stories of their adventures.

The hotel’s prime location allows for effortless exploration of Venice’s treasures. A leisurely stroll leads to the Grand Canal, where the beauty of the city unfolds. Guests can immerse themselves in the local culture, savoring the flavors of nearby restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance. Each experience promises to enhance the enchanting atmosphere of a stay at Hotel Concordia.

Be sure to check official travel regulations before planning your trip.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly encourage you and your clients to purchase travel protection when traveling. Should you choose to travel with PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY without travel insurance coverage you and your passengers acknowledge your agreement to take full responsibility for all expenses (trip interruption, trip delay, medical expenses, quarantine expenses and emergency evacuation/repatriation) that may arise while traveling.

Itinerary Changes

You can count on the value of PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY’s experience and regional knowledge to make sure you enjoy your cruise even when conditions beyond our control occur. The very nature of sea voyages means that there will be times when weather or other conditions in a region will require PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY to adjust or modify an itinerary. Although every effort will be made to keep itineraries, vessels, and hotels as they are shown in the itinerary, PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY reserves the right to substitute itineraries, hotels, or vessels. In such cases, we will do everything we can to make sure the locations visited, the excursions, hotels or vessels offered are like our initial itinerary inclusions. Any changes to itineraries will not result in eligibility for a refund. Itineraries are subject to change without notice and may need to be altered specifically because of weather, wind factors, or other conditions.

Advanced, Cancelled, or Delayed Sailing

PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY reserves the right to cancel, advance, postpone or modify scheduled departure, return or itinerary dates, as well as locations, events, and schedules, and may, but is not obligated to, substitute, vary, alter, reschedule, cancel and/or relocate any accommodations, vessels, modes of transportation and other aspects of the vacation. PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY is authorized to take these actions due to causes or circumstances of any kind or nature beyond PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY’s control or causes or circumstances within PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY’s control that PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY deems to make such actions appropriate. PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY will not be liable for cancellation, delay, rescheduling or other adjustment or impact to a departure or itinerary, or other aspects of the vacation brought about due to force majeure or other circumstances beyond its control that prevent or interfere with any aspect of the cruise/tour, also including governmental and administrative actions.

Extensions/Land Tours

PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY reserves the right to reschedule and/or cancel land extensions or land tours if the minimum number of participants (10 people) is not met or for safety reasons.

Security

Security and safety are major concerns to all of us and the global situation is constantly changing. Events around the world, coupled with the “Travel Advisories” put out by various governments, may at times necessitate changes to the accommodations and itinerary or even trip cancellation. Risks are involved in travel to any country that may experience security difficulties. You must accept these risks and assume responsibility for your own travel decisions.

Ship Rules

Passengers on board are obliged to abide by the ship rules, as the captain is responsible for the safety of all passengers and the crew. Jumping and diving from the boat during navigation, as well as climbing on the masts, is forbidden. Swimming far from the boat or the coast should be avoided. It is forbidden to throw rubbish into the sea. It is not allowed to bring drinks and food on the boat, except personal care products, liquid medicine, food products for infants and special diets. The ship’s captain has the right to remove any guests who become unruly, threatening, or behave in an unsafe manner. In such cases, these passengers will not be entitled to any refund.

Health and Mobility

We strive to provide a safe, enjoyable, and memorable travel experience for all passengers. To this end, all passengers must ensure they are medically and physically fit for travel and accept responsibility for being in good health; able to walk, climb steps, enjoy full sightseeing days, and easily transfer to airplane or car/van as needed. In addition, please note the following:

  • We welcome passengers with special needs or disabilities, however, as many sites are not accessible to the physically challenged, those needing wheelchairs, oxygen, or other ambulatory assistance will find the tour extremely limiting in their experiences. Guests with medical needs of a physical nature should bring a personal attendant to assist them. Passengers are required to advise PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY at time of booking of any physical, medical, or other special needs that require accommodation. Please request the Special Needs form so we can help assess and assist you with passenger needs. After the time of booking, should a Passenger develop a physical or medical condition that requires accommodation the Passenger is required to advise PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY immediately.
  • PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY may impose safety requirements necessary for the safe operation of the tour, cruise, and land tours from the cruise. PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY may also exclude an individual from participating in a tour or an activity if that individual’s participation poses a direct threat to health or safety.
  • PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY does not provide personal devices (such as wheelchairs, hearing aids or prescription eyeglasses) or services of a personal nature (such as pushing a wheelchair or assistance in eating, toilet, or dressing). A companion capable of providing such assistance must accompany any passenger who requires services of a personal nature.
  • PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY does not employ medical personnel. Any necessary medical attention will be provided by a local facility at the passenger’s expense. PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY is not responsible or liable for any losses or costs incurred because of medical services obtained while on the cruise or on land, or for the quality of the care or services received.
  • Passengers should be aware some land tours include rough terrain, extensive walking over cobblestone streets, uneven pavement, stairs, and locations which may not be easily accessible or accessible by wheelchair. During the tour, PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY may decide with independent suppliers to provide travel services. These parties are independent entities over which PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY has no control. Accommodations on international tours or cruises may differ from those in the United States. PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY cannot guarantee disability access or accommodations for passengers traveling on international tours. PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY may, in its sole discretion, decline the booking of any passenger or remove any passenger who cannot comply or refuses to comply with the PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY terms and conditions. PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY is not responsible for any costs incurred in the event a passenger is removed from a tour. Passengers agree not to hold PARADISE IN YOUR PALM TRAVEL AGENCY or any of its related entities liable for any actions taken under these Terms and Conditions.
