AST151.A Route - $4,550 Per Person - Itinerary
AST151.A Route Trogir to Dubrovnik

Day 1 | Saturday · October 2, 2027 | Welcome to Split

Split, Croatia is a captivating blend of ancient history and vibrant seaside culture, making it one of the most popular destinations on the Adriatic coast. At the heart of the city lies Diocletian’s Palace, a remarkably preserved Roman structure that has evolved into a lively urban center filled with shops, cafes, and hidden courtyards.

Wandering its narrow stone alleys feels like stepping back in time, with historic architecture seamlessly blending into modern life. The city’s bustling Riva promenade offers stunning sea views, perfect for a leisurely stroll, while the nearby Marjan Hill provides panoramic vistas and peaceful walking trails above the coastline.

Beyond its historic core, Split offers a dynamic mix of beaches, local markets, and Mediterranean cuisine. Visitors can soak up the sun at Bačvice Beach, sample fresh seafood at the local konobas (taverns), or take day trips to nearby islands like Hvar and Brač.

With its warm climate, friendly locals, and deep cultural roots, Split is both a gateway to Croatia’s Dalmatian coast and a memorable destination in its own right—ideal for history lovers, adventure seekers, and sun-chasers alike.

Upon arrival in Split airport, after you make your way through customs and luggage claim, look for your driver in the international arrivals area, this person will be holding the IWorld of Travel sign with our logo and your name on it. Then, you will depart in your private transportation to your hotel.

‎ ‎

Cornaro Hotel

As a new urban lifestyle hotel in the city center, the Cornaro Hotel reflects a vibrant atmosphere and pulsing rhythm of the ancient city of Split.

Steps away from the imperial Diocletian’s Palace, the hotel is surrounded by many major attractions and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, offering the perfect spot for the modern traveler or business guests to welcome their meetings.

It’s the combination of personal touch, attentive staff, exceptional location, and a property full of charm that creates an exquisite and authentic Cornaro experience based upon local traditions and hospitality.

Accommodations – Rooms

All Rooms and Suites include a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, air-conditioning, a seating area, mini bar, and city views. The bathrooms are fitted with walk-in showers or baths.

Blue Cave can only be approached by boat and sometimes it can happen that due to winds, waves, and currents, the access to the cave is not possible.

We can only know about the sea conditions and the possibility of entrance on the same morning of the visit.

During the tasting, you’ll sample local wines paired with traditional Dalmatian bites such as prosciutto, cheese, homemade bread, olive oil, and seasonal accompaniments.

After a relaxing stroll in the park and around the lakes, you’ll return to the boat for lunch while we cruise to the island of  Slano.

In the afternoon our adventure continues, and we cruise towards the island of Šipan and its peaceful fishermen’s village, Šipanska Luka.
