Journey Through the Cyclades aboard the Elysium
Join me for an unforgettable journey through Greece, beginning with a night in Athens before we set sail aboard the Elysium, an intimate 25-cabin boutique discovery ship. Together, we’ll experience the Cyclades at a relaxed pace—where ancient history, iconic island villages, crystalline waters, and unhurried days at sea all become part of the story.
Our voyage begins in Lavrion and carries us first toward Delos, one of Greece’s most storied archaeological islands, before continuing to Mykonos for an evening among its whitewashed lanes, waterfront cafés, and famous windmills. From there, we’ll sail to Naxos, where there is time to discover the island’s traditional character, from its landmark Portara to its villages and local flavors.
The journey continues to Ios for a refreshing swim near beautiful Manganari Beach, followed by an afternoon and evening in Santorini, where the island’s dramatic caldera views and celebrated sunset set the scene. We’ll wake the next morning in volcanic Milos, known for its striking landscapes and lunar-like Sarakiniko Beach, before sailing onward to the quieter island of Kimolos.
From Kimolos, we’ll enjoy a swim stop near the uninhabited island of Polyaigos before arriving in Sifnos, an island beloved for its whitewashed villages, scenic trails, and vibrant culinary traditions. Our final island stop is Serifos, a beautifully unspoiled corner of the Cyclades, before we gather aboard the Elysium for a farewell cocktail and dinner and sail back toward Lavrion.
On board, there is time to truly settle into the rhythm of Greece. Spacious decks, Mediterranean cuisine, wellness experiences, water activities, and attentive service create an intimate setting for the days we’ll share at sea. With just 25 cabins and space for approximately 45–52 guests, the Elysium offers a relaxed and highly personal way to explore the Greek islands.

More than a vessel, the Elysium will be our home at sea as we journey through the Cyclades, moving between ancient sites, celebrated islands, quiet harbors, and some of Greece’s most beautiful stretches of coastline. Designed for boutique discovery cruising, this elegant 25-cabin ship blends casual comfort, wellness, and immersive exploration with the intimacy of a private retreat.
Thoughtfully appointed cabins, sun-drenched decks, Mediterranean cuisine, wellness experiences, and inviting shared spaces create an atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and settle into the rhythm of the journey. With an attentive crew and only a small number of guests on board, the experience feels personal, relaxed, and wonderfully removed from the pace of larger ships.
Throughout our voyage, the Elysium becomes part of the experience itself—from quiet mornings on deck and refreshing swim stops to leisurely meals, sunset conversations, and evenings beneath the Greek sky. Between the storied landscapes of Delos and Santorini and the quieter character of islands such as Kimolos, Sifnos, and Serifos, the ship gives us a beautiful way to experience Greece: unhurried, intimate, and always connected to the places we visit.

Your Greek Journey Begins July 13–July 21, 2028
I’m delighted to invite you on a journey through Greece that brings together ancient history, iconic islands, hidden corners of the Cyclades, intimate cruising, and time to simply enjoy being at sea. We’ll begin with a night in Athens before boarding the Elysium for a voyage through some of the Aegean’s most memorable islands.
Our adventure begins in Athens, where we’ll settle in at the Divani Palace Acropolis before traveling to Lavrion the following day to embark aboard the 25-cabin Elysium. After a welcome aboard and dinner, we’ll set sail for Delos, beginning our island journey beneath the Greek sky.
Our first full day brings us to sacred Delos, the mythical birthplace of Apollo and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From there, we’ll continue to Mykonos, where the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy—whether that means a sunset drink in Little Venice, photographs by the famous windmills, or a leisurely wander through the whitewashed lanes of Chora. We’ll overnight in Mykonos before sailing onward in the early morning.
Next comes Naxos. We’ll begin the day with a refreshing swim in a secluded cove before reaching the island’s main port. The afternoon offers time to explore Naxos Town and its landmark Portara, or venture farther inland to discover traditional villages and some of the island’s local culinary traditions.
From Naxos, we’ll sail toward Ios for a morning swim at beautiful Manganari Beach before continuing to Santorini. The afternoon and evening are yours to experience the island at your own pace, culminating in one of Greece’s most celebrated sunsets before we return to the Elysium and sail overnight toward Milos.
We’ll wake in volcanic Milos, where striking geology and the brilliant white landscape of Sarakiniko Beach reveal an entirely different side of the Cyclades. Later, we’ll sail to nearby Kimolos, a quieter island with an inviting Chora made for an evening stroll after dinner aboard.
Our journey then carries us past the uninhabited island of Polyaigos for a refreshing swim before arriving in Sifnos. Known for whitewashed villages, scenic walking trails, and a rich culinary tradition, Sifnos invites you to choose your own pace—perhaps exploring medieval Kastro and the Church of the Seven Martyrs, wandering through Apollonia, or joining a hands-on local cooking experience.
Our final island stop is Serifos, a beautifully unspoiled destination of windmills, whitewashed chapels, beaches, and authentic Cycladic character. Spend the day exploring or simply enjoying the sea before we gather aboard the Elysium for a farewell cocktail and dinner. Later that evening, we’ll sail back to Lavrion, where we’ll disembark the following morning for the transfer to Athens Airport.
Throughout the voyage, there is a natural balance between discovery and ease: ancient ruins and island villages, refreshing swims and leisurely meals, lively ports and quieter shores. It is a journey designed to unfold at an unhurried pace, with each island revealing another expression of the Cyclades.
